Joe W. Hensley spent 32 years in the aerospace industry as a technical illustrator, electronics design draftsman, and a publications artist. His career in art began in 1945 working at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California until the war ended in 1946. He then worked as a scenic artist in North Hollywood painting show fronts. After his retirement from Lockheed Aircraft Co. in 1990, he has been self-employed as a local artist using a variety of mediums. He specializes capturing and expressing the unique in the every-day ordinary. He lives in Kalispell, Montana.
